Mrs. Grace Olivia Drennan, age 51 years, died at the family residence on Washington Street after an illness extending over several months on Sunday, January 11, 1943. She was the wife of J. C. Drennan, Chairman of he Board of Directors of the Union National Bank, was a member of he Presbyterian Church, and until disease laid its hand upon her was active in church and social affairs. She was the daughter of he late Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Prosser. She was a woman of charming personality which won her the admiration and love of all with whom she came in contact. The own unites with her family in grief over her passing. Funeral service was conducted Monday morning a the church with which she was united by the Revs. W. T. Clark and B. G. Pressley. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Survivors besides her husband are two daughters, Misses Lenora and Mary Dale Drennan; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Landess; one brother, E. G. Prosser of Florence, Alabama.
