Bertha Emily (Montgomery) Prosise passed away Friday, May 5, 2006, at the age of 86. Born in Greenfield, Mo., she lived in Springfield, Mo., until recently moving to Cincinnati, Ohio. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence E. Prosise; loving mother of Robert L. (Marilyn) Prosise; caring grandmother of Michelle (Eric) Barker of Columbus, Ohio, Mark Prosise of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Valerie (Mark) Robinson of Athens, Ohio; dear great-grandmother of Anabel and Gabriel Barker. Preceded in death by siblings, Evelyn Moore, Rollo Montgomery and Val Montgomery. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. Beloved and enjoyed by family and friends, Bertha appreciated the good things in life. Visitation for friends and family will be at GormanScharpf Funeral Home at 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2006. Burial will be in Springfield National Cemetery.
