Jeanne P. Fisher, 81, of Normandy Farms Estates, died Friday, April 5, 2002. She was the beloved wife of Robert J. Fisher for 58 years. Formerly of Blue Bell, she moved to Normandy Farms Estates 11 years ago.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Bertha M. Prince. She graduated from Cheltenham High School, Class of 1939, and the Pennsylvania School of Nursing, Class of 1943.
Jeanne worked for the American Red Cross for 20 years, until retiring.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Ambler for 52 years. She was actively involved in the Womenšs Fellowship and Womenšs Circle.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Kirsten F. Phillips and her husband, Arthur, of Broad Axe and Karen F. Tyszka and her husband, Leon, of Smithville, NJ; and a grandson, Robert E. Tyszka of Smithville.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her service Wednesday at 11 AM in First Presbyterian Church of Ambler, Butler Pike and Ridge Avenue in Ambler, where the family will receive friends from 10 AM until time of service. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
