Franklin—Blanche (Prince) "Buddie" Conners, 76, widow of Maynard G. Conners died at her home in Franklin April 25, 2003. She was born in Oakfield, February 28, 1927 the daughter of Owen L. and Frances (Dutton) Prince, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Les G. Drew of Meriden, CT and Peter W. Drew and his wife Shirley B. of Merrill; one daughter, Patrice D. Tarr and her husband Fred of Bangor; seven grandchildren who where the light of Nana's life, Holly (Drew) Fitch and her husband Corey and their daughter Maura of Naples, Kelly A. Drew of Newington, CT, Heidi N. Drew and her daughter Alissa of Raymond, Amy L Drew of Meriden, CT, Audrey (Tarr) Bragdon and her husband Daniel of Minot, ND, Elizabeth Tarr and her sons, Steevie and Anthony of Brewer and Andrew N. Tarr of Bangor; a stepdaughter, Ruby Joy of Sullivan; one sister Cleo Sewall of Island Falls; two brothers, Owen L. Prince, Jr. of Oakfield and Ralph W. Prince of Houlton; a special niece Frances Cookson of Florida; several other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Maynard she was predeceased by her sister Yvonne Enloe and her brothers, Frank and William. Buddie attended the Franklin Methodist Church and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Cherryfield, the Franklin Historical Society and the United Methodist Women's Club of Franklin.

At Buddie's request there will be no visiting hours. A graveside memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 1, 2003 at the Bayview Cemetery, Franklin where she will join her beloved husband, Maynard. Rev. Brenda R. Leclerc will be the officiating clergy.

Gifts of remembrance may be sent to the United Methodist Women's Club of Franklin, Franklin, ME 04634.
