CORDULA `CORDY' BAETHGE PRIESS was surrounded by family and friends when she peacefully joined her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 8, 2010. Cordy was born on May 17, 1929 in Seguin, Texas to Herman and Hattie Baethge and graduated from Texas Lutheran College. She was a full time homemaker and avid tennis player who shared a passion for antiques and collectibles with her daughter Renee. Cordy had a strong faith in God and glorified Him with her servant's heart; she was always gracious, loving, humble and understated. Cordy is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Gregg Priess and is survived by her husband Clint Priess, daughter Renee Pryor and her husband Bob and sons David and Stephen, her sister Jackie Allen and her husband B.C. and their children Leslye, Kerry and Anne. There will be a visitation for Cordy on Monday, July 12, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. She will be buried at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, with a funeral service to celebrate her life on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 11:00 am. All those who knew Cordy are welcome to attend the visitation and memorial service.
