Frances D. Aday, 87, of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012, in Red Oak. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Carol Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park.
Frances was born in Madison County, Texas, to the late Jessie Pridgen and Fannie Gibson Pridgen. Frances was a member of Ferris Heights United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was a member of the High Steppers and was a Pink Lady at Baylor Medical Center of Waxahachie. She loved to work puzzles and was an avid reader. She retired from the American National Insurance Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Aday; sisters, Florence Jones and Ethel Blackwell; and sisters-in-law, Ann West and her husband, Bob, and Jeanne Shipley and her husband, Bill.
She is survived by her sons, Joe Aday and his wife, Jackie, of Waxahachie, and Billy Aday and his wife, Shirley, of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Greg Aday, Robert Aday and his wife, Missy, Chris Aday, and April Fadler and her husband, Randall; great-grandchildren, Luke Whitaker and Khloe Fadler; sister-in-law, Doris Payne and husband, Leonard, of Waxahachie; cousins, Bessie and Mac Williams, of Houston; nieces and nephews, Karen and David Ballard, of Waxahachie, Lisa and Gerry Heine, of Waxahachie, Keith Shipley, of Austin, and Jay West, of Waxahachie.
