From the "Richmond Enquirer" Richmond, Va., Tuesday morning, July 20, 1852 issue:
"In Charlotte county, Va., on the 5th inst., at the residence of her son-in-law, Mrs. Mary Price Hudson, widow of Chas. Hudson, deceased. She was born in Henrico county on the 10th September, 1772, and was within a few weeks of being 80 years old. She was the daughter of Captain Barrett and Sallie Price. Mrs. Price died in the county of Henrico on the 8th July 1852. Thus at distant points, within three days of each other, died mother and daughter at the advanced ages of 96 and 80 years."
