Statesboro - Mrs. Minnie Lane Preston, 95, of Douglas died Sunday in Douglas after a long illness.
She was a native of Arlington, and had lived in Douglas for 30 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Douglas.
Surviving are three sons, Harrison B. Preston of LaGrange, George B. Preston of Palm Beach, Fla., and Montgomery L. Preston of Douglas; a brother, Frank Lane of Rockmart; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Statesboro City Cemetery.
Smith-Tillman Mortuary of Statesboro is in charge.
