Wilma Praytor Goree

Funeral for Wilma Praytor Goree, 77, of Decatur will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Maynard officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Goree died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, at her home. She was born Sept. 5, 1924, to William Sinkler Praytor and Bertha Horton Praytor. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Park Church of God. She was the widow of Talmadge N. Goree.

Survivors include one son, Barry Goree of Decatur; two daughters, Dr. Joan Goree of Decatur and Nancy Goree Colee of Decatur; four brothers, Milton Praytor of California, Leon Praytor and Thomas Praytor, both of Bessemer, and Doyle Praytor of Oneonta; and three granddaughters.

Pallbearers will be Sterling Holt, Elbert Prince, Robert Hanners, Roy Borden, Don Minor and Bill Little.
