Daughter to Frank and Kate (Smith) Pratt. She attended high school and two years of college. On June 10, 1945, she married Wardell Jenkins. She worked as a secretary for Lane Electric Co-op in Eugene for several years and was working there at the time she retired. She was a longtime member of Elmira Church of Christ and most recently a member of the Newberg Christian Church. She was coordinator for the blood mobile in Lane County, belonged to a travel club, and sang with the Sweet Adeline’s singing group. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and keeping the family records, recording every birth, death and address change. Survivors include: son Richard of Alpine, WY; daughters, Pat McGarraugh of Newberg and Karen Bernard of St. Paul; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother and five sisters.
