Rella is the daughter of Orson and Juliette Ann Phelps, Pratt. Her father is one of the original apostles for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Rella married Frederick William Blaiklock on 13 June 1889 in Rocker, Silver Bow Co., Montana. The marriage was performed by J.J. Hopkins, Justice of the Peace. They are the parents of two sons; Frederick William (b. 12 Jun 1890 UT. d. 8 Dec 1977 OR) and Russell (b. 9 Jun 1893 Canada d. 12 Jan 1965, CA) They moved to Canada where Mr. Blaiklock died (24 Jul 1900 Cause of death: Tuberculosis), Montreal, Quebec, Canada. After his death Rella and her two sons moved back to Salt Lake.
Rella married Richard Charles Farrington on 31 Dec. 1902, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They are the parents of two sons, Richard Pratt (b. 28 Jan 1904, SLC, UT d. 24 Oct 1980, OR) and Ferndon Phelps (b. 26 Oct 1905, SLC, UT. d. 5 Nov 1994 OR). Richard and Rella moved to Portland about 1920.
