Mrs Armada Grace Prather, wife of W. F. Prather, well known lady of this vicinity, died at her home northeast of the city at 12:30 this morning. Mrs. Prather had been an invalid for several years, being paralized, and death came as a result of a complication of troubles. She was 50 years and two months old at the time of her death.
Mrs. Prather, whose maiden name was Armada Grace Wood, was the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Ann Metheny Wood , north of the city. She was born in Bourbon Indiana, January 12, 1875. In early childhood she moved with her parents to Dakota and coming to Iowa in her young womanhood where she continued her profession of teaching. In August 1897, she was united in marriage to W. Frank Prather, who with two daughters at home, Florence and Grace, survived her, together with her aged parents, a brother Charles of Winterset, Iowa and a sister Elma Wood Pellett of this city.
Funeral services wereheld at the M. E. Churcvh, Rev. Gable officiating.
