Pauline Helen Bradford, 87, of Pittsville died Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at Salisbury Nursing Home.
Born in Pittsville, she was a daughter of the late Ray E. Powell Sr. and Agnes McNeal Powell.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was a homemaker and worked as a poultry farmer with her husband. She was a member of Powellville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, R. Douglas Bradford and his companion, Bonnie Webster, of Pittsville; three grandchildren, Melissa Wood of New Jersey, Mark Bradford and his wife, Tanna, of Pittsville and Shane Webster and his wife, Shannon, of Hebron; four great-grandchildren, Bella Bradford, Logan and Wyatt Webster and Myah Meekins; a sister, Annie Powell of Pittsville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Bradford, in 1988; two brothers, Charlie Powell and Hub Powell; and a sister, Phyllis Lewis.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Libertytown, Md.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Pauline to Powellville United Methodist Church, 35606 Mount Hermon Road, Pittsville, Md. 21850.
