PVT. POWELL DIES IN KOREA
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Powell, 1219 South Gallatin Street were informed by the War Department today of the death of their son, Pvt. Reginold B. Powell. Pvt. Powell was killed in the line of duty Nov. 29 in Korea. No other details were given.
The soldier had served three years in the U.S. Navy and was discharged in March after which he enlisted in the Army. He was a member of the Marion Eagles Lodge.
Only survivor in addition to the parents is a sister, Mrs. John Baldwin, Ludlow, Ky.
Body will be returned to the United States for burial.
