Esther B. Tabor daughter of Malinda Susan Gordon Tabor and William Russell Tabor was born in Whitt, Texas. She was first married to Royal J. Jones and her second husband was Julian K. Pounders. She owned and operated a photography studio in primarily in Jacksboro with her husband Royal Jones and then after the divorce she operated it independently. She also had a studio in Weatherford, Texas. Her son Russel Jones operated the photography studio in Jacksboro after her retirement.
