Stanley Pounders, 42, of Evansville, died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday at home after an illness.
He was a landscaper for American General for 13 years.
He was a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Betty; three daughters, Jennifer Caldwell and Jessica Caldwell, both of Evansville, and Jessica Dees of Alabama; two sons, John Caldwell and Clifton Pounders, both of Evansville; his mother, Valerie Pounders of Evansville; his father, Jerry Pounders of Golden, Miss.; a sister, Karla Pounders of Evansville; two half sisters, Becky Bass and Nora Jane Caldwell, both of Mississippi; two brothers, Greg of Evansville and Robert of Robards, Ky.; a half brother, Jerry Pounders of Mississippi; two grandsons, Matthew and Richard Caldwell; grandmothers, Amy Bonds of Evansville and Marvie Punders of Golden; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, the Rev. Ronnie Bonds officiating, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.
