Mrs. Cannon was born August 30, 1919, in Leavittsburg, OH, a daughter of William and Corine Koon Pounders.
She was a homemaker and was an avid golfer. Evelyn was a longtime member of Leffingwell Hills Golf Club, which is now Diamondback. She also was a former member of the Republican Women's Assocation.
Her husband , Peter J. Cannon, whom she married July 6, 1940, died May 23, 1989.
She is survived by her children, Ronald L. (Donna) Cannon of Girard, Linda R. Payne of Youngstown, and Cheryl Price of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday 11AM at the Davis-Becker Funeral home, Boardman, where friends may call from 10-10:45AM, prior to services. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
