Louise Alspaugh Dies At 80
MONTICELLO - Louise Alspaugh, 80, 402
N. Main St., Monticello, died at 3:20
a.m. Wednesday at White County Hospital.
Born Sept. 19, 1899, in Cooksville, Tenn.,
she was the daughter of Taylor and Martha
Campbell Poteet. She was married in 1922
to George Lambert, who died in 1943. She
was married in 1958 to Albert Alspaugh,
who died April 8,1967.
A resident of Monticello since 1939,
coming from Kokomo, she had worked as a
practical nurse for several years.
Surviving are one stepdaughter, Hazel Wells,
Paoli; five stepsons, Emmett, Lennie and
Chester Alspaugh, ail of Monticelio; and
Elbert and Carroll Alspaugh. both of
Renyolds; two sisters, Viola D. Maloy,
Monticelio; and Mrs. Charles Lang, Dallas,
Texas; several stepgrandchildren and
several step great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday
at the Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home with the
Rev. Robert Ross officiating.
Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
