April 11, 2002 -- Ruby Inez Ernst, 85, a retired postal clerk died Monday, April 8 in Arlington.
Burial: Squaw Creek Cemetery, Rainbow, Somervell, Texas.
Ruby was born in Somervell County, May 1, 1916 to William & Millie Shirley Porter. She married Walter Claude Ernst in Glen Rose on Oct. 12, 1935.
Mrs. Ernst spent most of her life in Glen Rose where she worked at the Glen Rose post office for over 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Glen Rose. She lived in Pecan Plantation for about 15 years before moving to Arlington.
She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors: Carl Lynn Ernst and wife, Barbara of Arlington; two grandsons.
