Jesse (Skip) Porter, of here [Eckhart], died yesterday in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland. Born in Eckhart, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Maggie (Beal) Porter. Surviving are his widow, Thelma (Kroll) Porter; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Long, Frostburg; two brothers, Harry Porter, Canton, Ohio, and Dewey Porter, Frostburg. The body is at the residence where a service will be held tomorrow at 2 p. m. Rev. William Anderson, pastor of Eckhart Methodist Church, will officiate and internment will be in Eckhart Cemetery.
