Lee Porch, who had been in a bad state of health, mentally and physically, for the past two or three years, died here Tuesday afternoon, The remains were taken to Spiceland Wednesday and after funeral services at the residence of W. A. Porch, were interred in the Spiceland cemetery. Mr. Porch was a bright, intelligent and industrious young man, and was for several years manager of the Tennessee Lumber company at Iron City, Tenn. Financial trouble and disease played havoc with him, however, and for the past two or three years his life has been a mere existence.
(2d entry) Linneus Lee Porch, youngest son of the late Samuel and Anna Jane Porch, died at New Castle Tuesday, aged 38 years. The cause of his death was probably paralysis of the brain. He had been in poor health for probably a couple of years. The remains were brought here Wednesday afternoon and services were held at 4 o'clock at the home of his brother, William A. Porch, Rev. Haughtby officiating; after which the remains were laid in the family lot in Circle Grove cemetery. A wife survives him."
