Deceased Name: Audean Y. Dansby
Services for Audean Y. Dansby, a resident of Grand Prairie for 50 years, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Grand Prairie. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Mineral Wells.
Mrs. Dansby died Friday. She was 91.
Born on April 6, 1907, in Weatherford County, Mrs. Dansby was a school teacher in Port Neches, Burnet and Grand Prairie and a secretary at L.T.V. She was a member of the Texas State Teacher's Association, a member of the Grand Prairie Music Club and was in the choir and a Sunday school teacher at First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Sylvia Shook of Houston and two granddaughters. Mrs. Dansby was preceded in death by her husband Dan Dansby Jr.
