A son, David Stanley was born in 1949 and all moved to Hapeville, Georgia to continue the family furniture business that lasted for over 60 years. She was the quintessential homemaker and support arm of her husband and 2 sons. She enjoyed traveling the world on pleasure trips, including watching Ken pursue his military career or Stan play college football. She revelled in her 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She loved to babysit and have them visit in her home in Hapeville for over 50 years. She spent the past many months at Westbury Medical Care Home in Jackson, GA. As a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Hapeville, she has gone on to her reward to be with the Father and rejoin her beloved husband Roy of 63 years.
