Lucille Blakey passed away Saturday March 30, 2013 at the Liberty Care Center . She was 89.
Born April 5, 1923 in Russell County, KY, she is the daughter of the late Joe Tom and Martha Bell Polston. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
Ms. Lucille is the widow of Joe Blakey, who passed away November 29, 1994.
Survivors include daughters Barbara Asbery of Hustonville, Judy Delk of Middleburg and Shirley (and Jerry) Hurst of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren ; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Roy Polston and Bobby Dale Polston both of Louisville and Ed Polston of Tampa, Florida; and a sister, Wanda Kirchhoff of Orlando Beach, Florida .
Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday April 3, 2013 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Pittman officiating. Burial is at Poplar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
