AUSTIN -- Bette A. Pollin, age 84 of Austin, Minn. died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
Bette was born March 17, 1924 in Austin, Minn. to Ezra and Edna (Bliese) Gillson.
She graduated from Austin High School in 1942. She married Otto F. Pollin on Oct. 19, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minn. Bette worked as a claims examiner for the Social Security Administration and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Austin.
Bette is survived by her son: Bruce (Marybrigid Patrias) Pollin, Minnetonka, Minn.; brother: Ray (Betty) Pollin, Austin, Minn.; sister: Lois (Frank) Felty, Coon Rapids, Minn.; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Otto.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Gordon Larson Officiating. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday for one before the service.
Organist will be Nancy Arneson. Soloist will be Stacie Beecham. Casketbearers will be Todd Bradley, John Bradley, Frank Felty.
