Services for Jo Pollei, 76, of Lewisville, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday October 9, 2013 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with Bro. Dennis Woods officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, Texas.
She passed away October 6, 2013 in Lewisville, TX.
Mrs. Pollei was born June 26, 1937 in Lancaster, TX, to Fred M. and Vada Jones Parks.
Jo grew up in DeSoto, where she graduated high school. After school, she attended beauty college. Jo and Jim were married in August of 1967. Jo worked at Zales as an accountant for several years before moving to Gun Barrel. She retired from Wal-Mart as a department manager in 2006. Jo was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Gun Barrel. Jo loved her grandchildren, babies, playing games and she was a great cook. She volunteered at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton in her spare time.
Surviving are Husband, James "Jim" Pollei of Lewisville, Daughter, Joyce & Mark Hall of Waco, Daughter, Jeanie & Eric Rosner of Flower Mound, Daughter, Julie & Eric Smith of Irving, 5 Grandchildren, Ashley & Peter Healey, Paul Henry, Lindsey Henry, Holly Henry & Jason Erler, Andrew Rosner, 4 Great Grandchildren, Brooklyn Marie Erler, Addison Rene Erler, Grayson Wade Erler, Preston James Healey.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Brother, Charlie Parks, Sister, Martha Faye Parks, Nephew, Chuck Parks.
