As a young woman Kay was co-owner of McKays Childrens Clothing and El Rancho Variety Store. In her later years she enjoyed homemaking, gardening, and belonging to the Italian American Heritage Foundation and Son's of Sicily.
She is survived by her daughter Paula Polito of Mountain View, and her siblings Ida Andrade and Dom Tappero.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 30, 2003, at the LIMA FAMILY SANTA CLARA MORTUARY, Santa Clara. Interment at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
