Leanore "Lee" (Polito) Lontz, formerly of Burlington, passed away surrounded by her loving family and friends at her daughter's residence in North Carolina, on Thursday, June 10, 2010. She was 90.

Lee worked for and retired from General Motor's in Trenton after 32 years of service.

Lee was very active in the Burlington community belonging to and holding positions in many organizations.

She was a member and Past President of the Good Cheer Club, and Vice President of the local chapter of the A.A.R.P. She was also a member of St. Paul's Young at Heart Club, St. Joseph's Sr. Citizens Club of Beverly, Catholic Daughter's of America Court Prudentia Chapter, Mount Holly Sr. Citizens Club, and a charter member of the Riverfront Senior Citizens Club.

Affecionately called "Momma Lee" by her New Bern friends, she missed her trips to the casino's in Atlantic City, and her friends from the various clubs.

Lee loved watching her soaps in the afternoon, crocheting, and taking walks.

She was the daughter of the late Leonardo and Mamie Mango Polito, and sister of the late Baby John Polito, John, Leonard, and Robert Polito, Esther Rapagna, Carolyn Raulston and former husband, Theodore Lontz.

She is survived by her daughter, Lea Strand and her husband, Harry of New Bern, N.C.; her brother, Salvatore Polito and his wife, Ruth and Michael Polito all of Burlington; her special caregiver, Margaret Bell of North Carolina, and many nieces and nephews.

The family invites friends to her viewings and funeral Mass. The viewings will be held at Page Funeral Home 302 E. Union St., Burlington on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday in Saint Paul's Roman Catholic Church, E. Union St., Burlington at 10 a.m., with burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery
