Charles M. Poisel, 83, of Parker, died Tuesday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Born in Terre Haute, Ind., he came to Washington with his family when he was 9 years old.
Mr. Poisel farmed in Moxee and Harrah and later become a sheep rancher until he retired.
His wife, Amy, died July 12, 1971.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Merle (Phronie) Crowell of Yakima, Mrs. Fred (Fern) Thornton of Chehalis; a son, Theodore M. Poisel of Wapato; three brothers, Ora of Wapato, William of Wenas and John of Lake Quinault; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Pettit of Tieton; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
