She was born July 9, 1941 in Water Valley, MS to Harvey Poindexter & Jesse Collins. She was a Property Controller for the Department of Corrections, State of Louisiana.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home in Houston.
Survivors include: Daughter, Suzanne (Jay) McCain of Liberty, MS; Son, Paul Gerard Cox, III of New Orleans, LA; Sister, Faye Shearer of Pascagoula, MS; Sister-in-Law, Penney Nichols of Houston; Grandson, Taylor (Margaret) McCain; and Great-Grandsons, Everett McCain and Stirling McCain.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Gerard “Gerry” Cox, II.
Pallbearers are: Dalton Collums, Brody Collums, D.J. Pulley and Walter Archer.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM service time. Burial will follow at Houston Cemetery.
