Arlene R. Baxter
Arlene R. (nee Plank) Baxter, 90, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, in Cuyahoga Falls.
She was born May 28, 1916, in Ashland. She moved from her family in Bath to Granger Township when she was married in 1936 and lived in Cuyahoga Falls since fall 2005. She helped her husband at Baxter's Apple Orchard. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading and jigsaw puzzles. She was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.
She was the beloved grandmother of Harry C. "Buddy" Baxter of Cuyahoga Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Charles C.; son, David C. Baxter; parents, Clarence V. and Eulalia (nee Foss) Plank; and brothers, Harry E. and David T. Plank.
Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St. Pastor Christopher Cahill will officiate.
Burial: Granger-Fairview Cemetery.
