Mrs Jessie Cheatham: The death of Mrs. Jessie Louise Cheatham, 104 Cayuga Street, occurred Saturday morning in Oswego hospital following a short illness. She was the widow of Edwin Cheatham and was a member of the staff of Karpinski's laundry. Surviving Mrs. Cheatham is a niece, Miss Doris Place, a teacher in Vernon. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 pm at the Barnes Funeral Home, with interment in Rural Cemetery. The Rev. A.S. Lowrie pastor of the West Baptist church will be in charge of the services (Published in Oswego Palladium Times).
