She was born April 26, 1928, in Ravia, Oklahoma the daughter of Clifford William Pitson and Lena Louise (Holcomb) Pitson. She married J. C. Hurley on November 7, 1945 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.
Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Brent Cemetery in Sallisaw.
She is survived by her husband, J.C.Hurley; one daughter; two sons; four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
