Noelie B. Pitre, 88, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Cut Off, died at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Mass will be 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Shelia P. Curole and husband, Paul Sr.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Percy F. Pitre; her parents, Lovincy and Ida Bourgeois Boudreaux; one son, Kermit Pitre; one daughter-in-law, Nora Pitre; five brothers, Ivy Boudreaux, Volney Boudreaux, Norman Boudreaux, Norby Boudreaux and Julian Boudreaux; two sisters, Bernice Riche' and Julie Navarre; and one grandchild.

She was a homemaker and parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Her hobbies were cooking, bingo and a caretaker for family members.
