Annell Pitre Baye, 91, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Thibodaux, died at 10:42 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Kenneth, Jimmy and Stanley Baye; two daughters, Peggy Authement and Judy Jennings; three sisters, Alberta Tassin, Betty Shavor and Annabell Pitre; 11 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and five step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Baye Jr.; her parents, Wallace Pitre and Stella H. Pitre; five sisters, Ezola Fazzio, Eula Rodrigue, Mildred Thomassiee, Annamae Pitre and Marie Pitre; and four brothers, Cleveland Pitre, Benson Pitre, Stanley Pitre and Wally Pitre.

She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Genevieve Catholic Church.
