Wife of C. R. Hunter Had Lived in Great Bend Only Four Months.
The death of Mrs. Dora Ann Hunter, who came here four months ago, occurred yesterday afternoon at her home, 811 Madison. She was 63 years and 16 days of age and had been in failing health for some time.
Her husband, C. R. Hunter, is also of Great Bend as are two children, a son, William Robert, and a daughter, Mrs. L. M. Stark. Another son, L. F. Hunter, resides at Nevada, Mo.

Dora Ann Pitman, daughter of William H. and Felicia Jane Pitman was born near Filley, Mo., Cedar County on March 15, 1884, and departed this life at Great Bend, Kansas on March 31, 1947, at the age of 63 years and 16 days.
When a young girl she was converted and obeyed her Lord in baptism and united with the Christian church at Jerico Springs.
On June 16, 1904 she was united in marriage to Charles Robert Hunter at Filley, Mo. To this union three children were born. William Robert Hunter of Great Bend, Kansas; Opal Aleen Stark, Great Bend, Kansas; Lester Paul Hunter of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is survived by her husband and three children, one great grandchild, her aged father, two brothers, four sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. Her mother, two sisters, and one brother preceded her in death.
She was laid to rest in the Dunnegan Grove Cemetery. Rev Arthur Kicenski and Rev Fred Clauson officiating.
Flower girls were: Katherine Bannister, Neva Jane Cross, Sharron Warren, Lela Potts, Marie Potts, Mrs. James Porter and Mrs. Mildred Kicenski. Pall bearers were: George Higgins, Waldo Kicenski, Charles Roland, C. C. Roland, Lee Haines, Jim Rogers; singers were: George Haggins and wife, Waldo Kicenski, James Porter and wife, Mrs. Gay Potts, Mrs. Francis Potts and Mrs. Arthur Kicenski with Mrs. Botts at the piano.
