Kathi Roberts, 45, of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2003, in the I.U. Medical Center at Indianapolis.
She was born May 24, 1958, in Sullivan, the daughter of Joe and Katie Hill Alexander Pirtle. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Greene County General Hospital; a former employee of First National Bank and Trust and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Sullivan. She was a 1976 graduate of Sullivan High School.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Charles Raymond "Shindy" Roberts of Carlisle, whom she married June 5, 1975; her mother, Katie Pirtle of Sullivan; one son, Joshua Elliott Roberts of Carlisle; one daughter, Hollie Ann Bowman of Sullivan' one brother, Jack Alexander of Sullivan; two half-brothers, Doug MacDonald and David MacDonald, both of Carlisle; four half-sisters, Janet Pirtle of Sullivan, Jaime Kinnaman, Barbara Pirtle and Kimmie Hendrickson, all of Merom; her maternal grandmother, Anna Montgomery of Sullivan; three grandchildren and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father and a half-brother, Danny MacDonald.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Tom Turner officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Carlisle.
