Mrs Martha Pirtle, 78 years old, died at 7 o'clock Thursday evening at the residence here (Sullivan). She had lived here many years and was a native of Sullivan county. Surviving are two sons: Robert E Pirtle of Terre Haute and James L Pirtle of Washington D.C.; two brothers: W.L. Arnett of Columbus, Ohio & Leven Arnett of Sullivan.
