Raised at Grey Towers in Milford, PA. She married in 1944 to former w/o- Cord Meyer CIA official. They were divorced in 1958 and he died in 2001. Their children: Quintin Meyer, Michael Meyer, & Mark Meyer
She was a friend to several important political people in Washington including Pres. John Kennedy. They may have been more than just friends at one point. Two weeks following the Warren Commission Report, Mary was shot & killed instantly in her neighborhood of Georgetown.
She was murdered 2 days before her 44th birthday in the Georgetown neighborhood of Wash DC. Her funeral was held at the National Cathedral,
The murderer was acquitted of the murder and set free. There are still many questions about her death due to her involement and friends in the political world of the '60s.
Her siblings: Antoinette (Toni) Bradlee, w/o- Ben Bardlee. She was the granddaughter of famed naturalist, Gifford Pinchot.
