Doris Gregory, 95, Raytown, (formerly of rural Jameson and Gallatin, MO) died Monday, December 3, 2007 at a Raytown Care Center.

She was born April 24, 1912 in Harrison County, MO, the daughter of Jesse and Eliza (Stotts) Pilcher.
On June 20, 1943, she married Lowell E. Gregory in Harrison County, MO. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1998.

She was a rural school teacher in her younger years. She graduated from Ridgeway High School and attended Greenville College, Greenville, IL. She taught sewing for 4-H and she was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Chillicothe, MO.

Survivors include a 4 Daughters, Donna Tartaglia, Independence, MO; Dorothy Smith and husband, Whitney, Raymore, MO; Doris Shepherd and husband, Ed, Lincoln, NB; Dolores Johnson and husband, Ernie, Overland Park, KS; Son, Donald Gregory and wife, Louise, Pennsacola, FL; 2 Sisters, Bertha Parker, Bethany, MO; Zoe Ellen Armour, Kansas City, MO; Brother, Dr. Wayne Pilcher, Kansas City, MO; 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister, Deloris Pilcher, infant sisters, Gwendolyn and Maudie Pilcher, brother, Glen Pilcher, granddaughter, Deb Morton, sons-in-law, Bobby Johnson and Dan Tartaglia.
