Louise was the daughter of John Pike and Charlotte Elizabeth "Annie" Dalton Pike, the sister of Wilbert, Ken, John, William, Bertha, Catherine and Jenny, the wife of Sherman William Daisey and the mother of Douglas Daisey, Lorraine Bush, Clifton Daisey, Patricia Daisey, Gregory Daisey and Linda Merritt.
Louise was born and raised in Canada. She later left her native country to marry Sherman Daisey from Chincoteague, Virginia.
A strong woman, guided by the Victorian values instilled by her mother and father, Louise endured many hard times, including near poverty, to provide for the welfare and protection of her children.
Louise was an independent, frank woman who loved to dance and was particularly fond of bowling. Louise (or "Nanny") was also a proud Canadian who held fast to the principles of her homeland and remained, throughout the course of her life, a loyal Canadian citizen.
