She was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph's Church, Brooks, MN. She grew up and attended rural school near Brooks and graduated from Plummer High School in 1946. She was employed at Sears Mail Order for a short period of time.
On June 28, 1948, Veronica was united in marriage to Leonard E. Boucher at St. Josephs's Church, Brooks, MN. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Milwaukee, WI for 2 years. They then made their home 2 miles west of Brooks for 40 years, where they dairy farmed and raised 5 children. In 1990, they moved to Brooks where she has since resided.
Veronica was a very active member of St. Joseph's Church and the Ladies Guild, St. Anne's Society, St. Joseph's Cemetery Board and American Legion Auxiliary Post #623, Plummer, MN. She liked to travel, embroidery, read, play cards and visit with friends and relatives.
