Mrs. Rosa Pierce Bass, Rt. 1, Edenton died Monday January 16 in Unit B-Chowan Hospital. She was 66.
Mrs. Bass, a native of Bertie County, was a homemaker and the dauughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pierce. She was a member of the Colerain Baptist Churcch.
She is survived by her husband, Lindsey Bass; three step-sons, Jesse Bass, Edenton, Danny Bassm Framville, Va. and Bobby Bass, Edenton; four step-daughters; Mrs. Doris Bunch, Edenton, Mrs. Brenda Turner, Edenton, Mrs. Kay Belch, Edenton and Miss Lillian Bass, Baltimore, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Perry, Perrytown and Mrs. Viola Duke, Eden, NC; and twelve step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Williford-Barham Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, January 18 at 2:00 P.M. the Rev. Donald Wagner officiating. Burial followed in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
