The Reverend Debra A. (Pierce) Carnrike passed from this life Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in her home. The death of Rev.. Carnrike came to her friends and family as a shock, no warning was given that the death angel was hovering near, waiting to bear her freed spirit to a brighter and better world than this, that they are left-stunned, bereft of her companionship words of cheer and wisdom.
Born in Norwich, N.Y. September 23, 1948, she was the daughter of Doris (Hazard) and James R. Pierce. Rev. Carnrike was married to the Reverend Dr. David M. Carnrike, March 21, 1976.
She was ordained with the United Gospel Holiness Church in 1977 and currently was serving as their national executive secretary and director of missions. She also was national vice-president of the International Association of Ministers and Christian Miniseries and was serving as director of their ordination council.
Rev. Carnrike was a woman of the most intense Christian convictions, spending much of her time in retirement proclaiming the Gospel of Christ through personal evangelism as she lived her life above reproach

Dr. David M Carnrike, are her mother, Mrs. (Paul) Doris Cunningham, Sacramento, Ca.; a daughter, Mrs. (Charles) Waynema Ziebach of Satsuma, one brother, Mr. Alan (Teresa) Carnrike, Orange Beach, one sister, Mrs. Laura (LeLand) Petrie, Sacramento, CA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her cremation was handled by the Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, Celeste Road, Saraland.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, January 12, at Calvary Assembly of God, Three-Notch Road, Tillmans Corner with the Reverend Cecil Turner and the Reverend Kevin Turner officiating.
