Mr. Pierce was an Operations Supervisor with Centerpoint Energy and was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Past Master and Life Member of the Eastgate Masonic Lodge #1153 AF & AM, Grand Lodge of Texas, the Scottish Rite Bodies, received the Golden Trowel Award, a member of the Two of Us Bass Club, a graduate of the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 1996, involved with the Sunshine Kids, and held a Patent with Houston Industries. He loved the outdoors, both hunting and fishing and greeted his wife every afternoon with "Hello my love, how was your day?". Garry is survived by his wife, Jerry Sue Pierce, mother, Ruby Estelle Pierce, daughter, Annette Litzman and James Bennett, brother, Kenneth Allen Pierce, Nieces, Esther Estelle Cervantes, Megan Wade, Victoria Lynn Pierce, Stacie Leigh Bumgarner, nephew, Garrett Wayne Pierce, great-niece, Kaitlin Jeanette Bumgarner, great-nephew, Matthew James Bumgarner.
