Cora H. Pickett, 74, of Mechanicsville, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2007. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd F. Pickett; her children, L. Steven Pickett and wife, Diane, Kathryn P. McGuire and husband, Bob, and Paul S. Pickett and wife, Lynn; her grandchildren, Alexander and McKenzie, Matt and Steph, Tiffany, Blaire, and Tristan; a sister, Vivian Carawan. The family received friends Wednesday October 31 and Thursday November 1 at the Mechanicsville chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. Funeral services were held Friday, November 2, at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 2446 Old Church Rd., Mechanicsville. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
