Julia Ann Luci, 88, of New Eagle, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, in UPMC-McKeesport.
She was born Nov. 23, 1916, in Union Township, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Rekuski Piccolo.
Mrs. Luci was a member of St. Anthonys Church in Monongahela and was formerly employed at the former Shop 'n Save in Fisher Heights and Pizzutelli grocery in Monongahela.
She is survived by a son, James S. Luci and wife Betty of Clearwater, Fla.; three grandchildren, Denise Berry and husband Patrick, and Debbie Luci and James Luci Jr. and wife Sylvia, all of the state of California; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Louise Eusepi and husband Medio of Donora; and a brother, Eugene Piccolo and wife Grace of New Eagle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Luci; two brothers, Sam and John Piccolo; and one sister, Rose Faber.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the L.M. FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Friday, April 22, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph Feltz officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
