Lenore Maxine Phillips was born March 8, 1925, to Albert L. and Edna F. (Haggard) Phillips at Monett, Missouri.
She spent her childhood in Willard, OH and the Chicago, IL area, graduating from Argo High School in Argo, IL with the class of 1943.
Maxine married Joseph Bolser in Chicago on October 12, 1946. To this union three children were born. The marriage later ended in divorce.
She moved to Olathe, CO in 1960, and on April 21, 1967 she married Laurance “Larry” Adams in Olathe. They moved to Delta in 1967.
Maxine worked as a secretary for the schools. She was a member of Delta United Methodist Church and after moving to an assisted living center in Montrose had joined Montrose United Methodist Church. She had been a member of United Methodist Women, and the Historical Society.
Maxine enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, computers and doing genealogy research.
Those grateful to have a part of her life include her sons: David F. Bolser (Ann), of Colorado Springs, and Steven J. Bolser (Denise), of Arvada; daughter; Nancy J. Buchanan, of Aurora; brother, James D. Phillips (Sandra), of Mobile, AL; sisters: Marjorie L. Hinilica, of FL, and Marilynn J. Kolar (Richard), of OR; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Adams; and a brother, Robert E. Phillips.
