Reba L. Phillips Johnson, 76, passed away October 8, 2006. She was born June 5, 1930, fifteen minutes before her twin sister Ouida June Phillips Edmonson in Shawnee, Oklahoma to B. F. Phillips and Reba Luella Casteel Phillips. She is a member of the Sac and Fox Tribe. Reba married Brantley A. Johnson April 13, 1957 in Colorado. They traveled all over the country, according to where the Air Force decided they should live. Reba was always able to get a job as a waitress or seamstress. As a young couple, they took in her younger brother, Michael L. Sparks for a short time. In 1967, they decided to return to Oklahoma to be close to her twin sister in Sapulpa. The following year, they moved to Midwest City. Reba was employed at Guy James where she sewed jeans for 5 years and 1 year at TAFB. She then became a full time homemaker. She was very active in her children's lives, from making stuffed animals and dolls for carnivals to serving as secretary 2 years for the Midwest City High School Mat Club. Reba attended Meadowood Baptist Church where she was baptized and later went to Bryant Avenue Baptist Church. Reba's home and heart was always open to relatives, friends, her children's friends and her grandchildren's friends, whether it was for a few hours or several months. She loved people and made friends wherever she was. Reba is survived by her daughter Laura Tribble and her husband Lance of MWC; and her son John Johnson and his wife Julie of Stevens Point, WI; her grandchildren Shelvy Tribble of MWC, Lucas Tribble and his wife Rachael of Vilseck, Germany, Timothy Tribble of MWC, Jesse Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Gabby Johnson all of Stevens Point, WI; one great-granddaughter Chloe Tribble, born September 22, 2006 of Vilseck, Germany; her brother Michael Sparks of OKC; 4 nephews and 2 nieces and many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, 'big John', her parents, her twin sister and her brother Richard of CA. Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006 at Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 S.E. 29th Street, Del City, OK and graveside 2:00 pm at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma. Mom, Nanny we will miss you!
