Lavendure, 51, of Lafayette died
Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospital
after a three-year illness.
She was born at Delphi and had
lived in Lafayette since 1945
when she was married to Francis
S. Lavendure. She had been
employed at Duncan Electric,
Brown Rubber and Hook's Drug
Store. She attended Kossuth
Street Baptist Church.
Surviving with the husband are
three sons, Charles J. and Dennis
A., both of Lafayette, and Darrell
W, at home; her stepmother,
Mrs. Evaleen Phillips of Delphi;
two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Stacy of
Delphi and Mrs. Jean Martin of
Rossville; a brother, Paul
Phillips of Indianapolis; two
stepbrothers, Loyd Phillips of
Delphi and Rick Phillips of
Mentone; a stepsister, Mrs.
Patricia Abbott of Delphi; and
four grandchildren.
Final rites were this afternoon
at Lafayette with the Rev. Robert
Mundy officiating. Interment
was in Tippecanoe Memory
Gardens.
